Mel Seitz, Board Member, email@example.com
Mel first met Lori while she was working for the St. Vincent OBGYN residency program. They then reconnected when Mel coached Lori’s son Jake in Upward Soccer. Through their conversations, Mel learned about Lori’s calling to serve pregnant mothers in need. Last year while looking through the So Big website, Mel read one of Lori’s blogs where she shared that she and her husband were contemplating the purchase of a property in Zionsville for So Big’s first maternity home. In the end the timing was not right but Lori ended the blog with, “ God is steadfast and true in His promises and one day, the Mountain House will become a reality. “ Upon sharing the blog post with Bryan Langford an elder from New Hope Christian Church, God’s plan became evident; the home owned by New Hope and used by missionaries would become the future Mountain House maternity home. Mel serves as the liaison between So Big and New Hope, which created a natural transition for him to also serve on the board for So Big.
