When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left,

If you are interested in being a volunteer at the Mountain House, we recommend reading, When Helping Hurts, by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. It will help you understand how we are putting our mission into action as we walk alongside these women and children.

Calling all sewers, quilters, knitters, and crochet-ers!
If you enjoy sewing, quilting or knitting/crocheting there is a new ministry starting for Mountain House that you should know about. The goal of Wonderfully Made is to gift each mom-to-be in the program with a handmade baby blanket. Ideally each blanket’s creator will pray a special Bible verse over the mom and baby throughout the entire construction process.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please email Elise Stafford at wonderfullymadenhcc@gmail.com.

Guidelines:
Blankets should be no smaller than 35” x 35”, and no larger than 60” x 60” (but do not need to be square). Gender neutral colored blankets are preferred. Fabrics and yarns should be machine-washable for easy care.Blankets should be washed and ready for use.
